I hear I might go to the beach and possibly even go surfing!!! Sounds like I'm going to have lots of fun while I'm visiting them :)

Ms Piggy visits a local family!

Ms Piggy went to visit CathCainGwen and their Girl Scout troop for a few weeks in June. We met up with them at our daughter's dance rehearsal after discovering that both our girls dance with the same dance teacher :)

She enjoyed her time visiting with them and now she's ready to travel and visit a new part of the country :)

Ms. Piggy's visit to Connecticut

Ms. Piggy was the first boxing buddy whom Purple Penguin and I ever hosted!  She arrived in late March 2008.  Shortly after her arrival, Polka-Cat came to visit from Fulton, MO, so the two of them shared many adventures!  One of the first things that Ms. Piggy did was to help us to color Easter Eggs.  She was very excited that we made them metallic.  I was teaching at a high school for performing arts this past year, and we took a field trip to the Windham Textile Museum in Willimantic, CT.  Ms. Piggy came along with us, and found several letterboxes there.  She helped us to plant a number of letterboxes, four in our Park & Ride series, two at our Chester Changeable location, and a couple of others.  She letterboxed at several spots in Connecticut, including seeing the Monk Parakeets in Fairfield, a couple of visits to the Mansfield Box of the Month, and the first leg of the fabulous Noah's Ark series in East Hampton.  Probably the highlight of her visit was attending Spring into Boxing 2008 in East Hartford, where she made many new friends and taught many people about boxing buddies!  Before we said good-bye, she attended our Girl Scout service unit Camporee with us, and found a final letterbox at Camp Murray in East Haven.  We hope that she had as much fun boxing with us as we did with her!

Kit Kat and Purple Penguin

Ms Piggy arrives in CT

I arrived in Chester, CT near the end of March. I went to visit Kit Kat 61 and Purple Penguin! They let me rest for a day before we went out letterboxing, but we exchanged signature stamps :)

I got to spend Easter with them too! I love Easter :) I certainly did a lot of letterboxing with these guys and got lots of exchanges too!

I headed back home with a cd of pictures from my time with Kit Kat 61 & Purple Penguin. I will try to get some of them posted soon. I think that Kit Kat 61 & Purple Penguin are going to be posting here about my adventures with them too!

My very first adventure as a Boxing Buddy was with karmakat in Georgia in December 2007!

I got some exchages too! WE went to Stone Mountain Park - wow I got a lot of boxes there :)

While letterboxing on New Year's Eve, we found a hitchhiker by a letterboxer from back home! Rebel Boxer - my family has found a lot of their boxes! I thought it was pretty neat to find a hitchhiker from a familiar boxer :)

After visiting with karmakat for awhile, it was time for me to move on.
